A .dpg file (oitherwise known as nDs-mPeG) is a special format of MPEG-1 video specifically for playback using the homebrew Moonshell program for the Nintendo DS. The video is encoded on a computer and then transferred, along with Moonshell, to the DS for playback. More info on Wikipedia.

to watch dgp videos on your Nintendo DS you will need one of the following FlashCarts:
R4-DS, M3 DS, SuperCard One, N-Card, EZFlash V, CycloDS, i-cheat XTRA, TTDS/DSTT.
There are other cards available, you just need to shop around.
Your FlashCart will need to contain either Moonshell or M3 Sakura for video playback.
- UNZIP the zip file.
- TRANSFER he dpg file to your flashcart. Put it somewhere you will easily find. Your flashcart should come with instructions on how to transfer files to it.
- PLAYBACK using Moonshell or M3 Sakura

No. Not that I know of.

Yes, but only with a dpg player such as DPGshow - but truthfully, the quality would seem very poor when played back on your computer.

Interweb... possibly some gaming shops.
It depends which cart you choose. You can get some pretty good deals when you consider the usage you will get out of them. I bought an R4DS* with 2gb microSD for £20 ($33) and it works fine.
I'm not an expert on these carts, just do your homework before buying.
*Please Note - Since I bought my R4DS, they have changed. I think they stopped making R4s, and the name is now being used by other companies. They still work, but are now clones and hybrids.
I hear that CycloDs carts are highly rated. A little on the expensive side, but still worth it if you plan on using it.

Incidentally, I rate M3 Sakura over Moonshell for video playback simply because it allows searching though videos where Moonshell (AFAIK) does not.

The SUPER © also supports the dpg format. I have tested it and it works ok but I still prefer DGPTools.

No... Sometimes... Maybe...
If you aren't very technically minded [I'm suprised you can operate a FlashCart], can't get your head around the DPG encoder, don't have time or just plain can't be bothered... you can ask.
Bare in mind that I might not be bothered either, but I guess it doesn't hurt to ask. I will set some ground-rules for requests now though to save future hassle.
- You MUST send me the file [rapidshare, etc is fine]. I'm not going to search for it for you.
- The file MUST be a clip, scene or small movie file. I'm not going to waste time downloading gigabytes of data for you.
- If you want the full movie, please reduce the file size. It's not going to be brilliant quality in dpg format anyway. Also, I will probably cut it into scenes.
- Give me as much info as you can on the clip/movie (models, studio, etc) so I can add it nicely to the collection for others to enjoy as well.
- NO TORRENTS! I only use torrents for something I really want and have the patience to wait for.
- ASK NICELY. I hate rudeness. A link to the file and "make this please" will piss me off.
- REMEMBER it takes time to convert and create a dpg video. Be polite and patient.

A video in dpg format is never going to be dvd quality. It's never even going to be VHS quality. But dpg is the best you're likely to get on your DS at the moment. It's a little blurry, glitchy at times, but it's the same codec that game manufacturers see fit to use in their games for intros and is, in my opinion, perfectly acceptable for porn on a handheld device.
• Video glitches when I FF/REW! BACK TO TOP
M3 Sakura allows for searching through a video (Moonshell does not, as far as I know). It will glitch for a few seconds, each frame bleeding into the next and become a mass of blurry gloop. This is perfectly normal and will usually correct itself within a few seconds.

No. That would be for another group/community.
I'm not sure that one exists at present, but would be willing to aid in setting one up.

I will be classing any video from the 80s or earlier as classic.
